Waterford Hill Manor Association
Purpose: The purpose of the Waterford Hill Manor Association shall be:
- To improve and protect the property and property values of the members of the Association.
- To upload and enforce the Deed Restrictions as recorded for the Waterford Hill Manor Association.
- To develop, administer and improve the waterfront property holdings of the Association.
- To promote fellowship of the members of the Association.
Eligibility: A property owner is eligible for membership and becomes a member in good standing of the Association upon payment of annual dues and any current assessment.
Meetings: An annual meeting of the members shall be held each year, time to be fixed by the Board of Directors, Regular meetings of the board of Directors are held the 2nd Tuesday of July, September, November, January, April and May at the homes of the Board members. These meetings are open to all members in good standing.
Activities: The Association provides financial support for the special children's projects, an annual spring and fall social function and other special needs.
Other functions of the Association include:
· Maintaining entrance signs, lawn and lighting.
· Liaison with Oakland County Road Department.
· Keeping abreast of Independence Township zoning and sewer rulings that may affect our neighborhood.
· Pet and traffic control.
· Maintaining beach by paying taxes, insurance, lighting, garbage and maintenance services.
· Working with Van Norman Lake Improvement Association to preserve the health of our lake.
· Architectural Control Committee to approve plans of new homes.
· Enforcing of restrictions on fences, parking of cars and recreational vehicles, illegal signs, garbage dumping, outbuildings, etc.
· Please be considerate of your neighbors. Obey "Leash Law" regarding dogs.
